Your Fido, like us, has specific cannabinoid receptors in their brain and central nervous systems that make up what we call the “endocannabinoid system”. The Cannabinoids (CBD) support your pets endocannabinoid system by supplying the essential phyto-nutrients they need – either orally or topically.
You can apply our products topically or orally depending on what products you and your dog prefer. Check the packaging for additional instructions.
We suggest following our guideline with the recommended dosage by weight. Occasionally, improvements will take more than one treatment.
To mitigate pain, give approximately every 8 hours. Otherwise give between once and three times a day. Pure Courage K9 is human quality, safe to use, all natural, pesticide free, and organic!
Between fifteen minutes and an hour depending on the size of your K9. We recommend start low and go slow with any CBD. Start off with a small serving and work your way up to a higher serving slowly. Individual results may vary.
Most K9 Moms and Dads will need to play around with the amount of CBD they give your four legged family member until they see the desired effects.
A few tips and tricks to get you started:
- For pets under 25 lbs, we recommend 5mg of CBD per day.
- For pets between 25 and 50 lbs, we recommend 10mg of CBD per day.
- For pets over 50 lbs, we recommend 15mg of CBD per day.
Every pet is unique and may require less OR more CBD to get the desired effect. If your pet is new to CBD, we recommend starting with half the recommended amount and then increase from there. Your pet may respond well to 50% of the recommended amount. However, if you do not notice a change, you can increase the dose to the full, recommended amount.
As mentioned before, some pets may require more CBD. In that case, it is perfectly acceptable to increase the amount of CBD given. However, you will want to do so slowly over time. For instance, if our 5lb pet is not responding to 5mg of CBD, then we would recommend increasing the amount by 50% the following day. Meaning, the 5lb pet would receive 7.5mg of CBD. You can continue to increase the amount until you see the desired effects.
